Sweet Service Award goes to Wagyu Direct; Sour Service Award goes to King Cake Party City Gardens!

The Sweet Service Award goes to Wagyu Direct, and its owner Garth Angus, who kindly delivered some Wagyu hamburger patties as well as a Wagyu steak to my home. I met Garth at an event at the Rare Grill, for which he supplied the steaks and mince used to make tartare, steaks, and mince balls. The patties I shared with Gary Peterson, who accompanied me to the Rare Grill event.  The hamburgers which I made and the steak which I ate over two days were beyond delicious.

The Sour Service Award goes to King Cake Party City Gardens, when I went to buy balloons for an event last Saturday.  I had been to the shop a week earlier, asking for prices of balloons as well as party hats. One of their staff dutifully wrote everything down for me, checking how many I required of each. When I came to buy the balloons, I was charged extra for the weights needed to hold them on the table, not having been quoted for them, and was told that they only had 2 party hats instead of the 11 that I needed, and that I should have pre-ordered them, which I was not told on my first visit. While the location of the shop is convenient in Gardens, its service is appalling!
