* There are only 6 episodes of Season 2 of MasterChef SA left. Chef Pete Goffe-Wood has confirmed that Season 3 will be filmed, and may be screened three times a week!
* London’s largest living wall has been erected at the South African owned Red Carnation Hotels’ The Rubens at the Palace Hotel.
* Mauritius is feeling the European economic downturn, and is forecasting a minimal tourism growth. It has also had to lower its expectation of tourism numbers, having hoped for 1 million tourists this year.

* Kayetan Meissner (Sommelier at Bosman’s Restaurant at the Grande Roche Hotel in Paarl) is through to the Bollinger Exceptional Wine Service Award 2013, with Barry Scholfield, Assistant Sommelier at Rust en Vrede Restaurant in Stellenbosch, and Xolani Mancotywa, Sommelier at the Saxon Boutique Hotel in Johannesburg.
