Corona Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for a very relaxed and calm day; for getting work finished, addressing a feedback email which needed diplomacy; for having my cats sharing my bed when I write in it, Minsky being lights out after another late night of gallivanting; for a sleep catch up; for a snooze on the terrace on a lovely sunny 23 C day; for a power walk that I didn’t think I’d have the energy for, tackling the 100 steps of Houghton steps, and incorporating the Camps Bay Promenade, very busy, DJs at Mynt, Caprice, The 41 and Tigers Milk trying to compete for the loudest and best music 😱; for earning 300 Discovery points; for a beautiful sunset; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

#grateful for Minsky coming back home, very worried, 11h00 being the latest homecoming ever 🙀😻, she exhausted and sleeping all day; for a few drops of rain, making the Cape Town tradition of the start of winter being over Easter true, very overcast all morning, but clearing this afternoon; for Banele coming to clean Camps Bay and Bakoven with me; for playing Easter Bunny by handing out Easter eggs to the Camps Bay CSI car guards; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

#Grateful for a lovely hot day at 26C without any wind, the beginning of a week of summer catch-up; for a writing morning; for Banele coming to work, sending him off in sign language to Clifton and back; for the two of us tackling Bakoven, always having litter problems, followed by the Tidal Pool, far less busy than I expected, given the warm day and public holiday; for a lovely sun snooze on the terrace; and for being happy and healthy 🙏💙 Continue reading →

#Grateful for a lovely day, with lots of clouds creating beautiful ‘pictures’; for getting my work done easily this morning; for meeting Banele, for a trial cleaning walk, spending 2 1/2 hours on the road, so happy to do a deep litter clean with him; for a wonderful deep sleep this afternoon, in a week in which I have not slept enough on
most nights; for the fabulous news that Out of the Blue ladies’ clothing retail outlets has appointed me to handle its Communications 💙; for receiving wonderful coverage for Utopia from Cape Town Etc, the owners of the publication investing in the restaurant industry by publicizing it 👏👏👏; for a walk to Bakoven, spoilt with the most beautiful sunset; for being offered a donation for my Camps Bay Clean from a resident 💙; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →
