On Monday 30 June restaurants were allowed to reopen for Sit-Down Service, after having only been allowed to offer a Food Delivery service from May, and a Food and Alcohol Delivery and Collection Service from June onwards.
Last week I posted a List of Restaurants offering a Sit-Down Service, in addition to the Facebook Group which I created of Restaurants offering Food and Alcohol Delivery and Collection. The List I posted had over 100 restaurants. I have been updating the List, and am posting an update today, with 315 restaurants on the updated List.
The majority of restaurants offering a Sit-Down service will continue offering a Food and Alcohol Delivery and/or Collection Service. Continue reading →

How refreshing and uplifting to see Cape Town and its beauty presented in a new music video by Lost Frequencies, a joint production by Belgian DJ and producer Felix De Laet, with Dutch DJ duo Zonderling, for their new song ‘Crazy’, in the midst of our city making headlines for all the wrong reasons currently! It already has close to 19 million views, and is enjoying great hit success.
On Monday I stopped at the Robertson Small Hotel for a bite to eat and a cappuccino, where Monica van Niekerk of Paul René MCC came to greet me, she having been surprised at the hotel with a stork party for the imminent birth of her daughter. She contacted her husband Henk, and he in turn contacted me, inviting me to a tasting of their sparkling wines.
