I was recently contacted by Ideas Cartel owner Schuyler Vorster, and invited to experience it. We have never met. I had to Google the directions to find the venue, and was surprised to see that it was the former Beluga, which closed down during Lockdown.
Subsequently I returned to the restaurant twice, for a dinner invitation, and then for an ice cream and gin pairing.
Misfits is a restaurant, entertainment venue, event venue, Inverroche Gin Academy, work space, coffee bar, wine shop, and indoor golf putting area.

On Easter Sunday I was challenged to walk (well more like scrambled, slip and slide, pulled, supported….) up Lionâs Head, the reward being a beautiful pair of blue eyes waiting for me at the top. I had to admit that despite having lived in Cape Town for 28 years, I had never been up the mountain before, a Cape Town icon. 
La Parada is my favorite Constantia venue, spending every Sunday afternoon there, enjoying the music of DJ RenĂ© Tanguy, and dancing. From tomorrow onwards, Toast Brunch will be served at Constantia Nek on the first Sunday of the month, from 10h00 – 14h00, at R 350 per head.
