#grateful for a good working day, loving the adrenaline and buzz of spending the whole afternoon at Zest Restaurant and newkings boutique hotel, Zest reopenimg tomorrow, and serving Breakfast for the first time, open to hotel guests as well as locals, from 7h00 – 11h00; for a lovely team spirit at Zest, after 4 weeks of not seeing each other, I feeling part of the family, thanks to the amazing kind owner Chef Pavel; for bumping into Jayme at Zest, the best buddy of #BananaBoy, the second time we’ve seen each other by coincidence in a month 🍌; for kind Charlene Shapiro of CNC Products, dropping off an order for me at Zest, so we had coffee/tea and a chat first; for finding new Continue reading →

#grateful for sleeping right through last night without disturbance, even if it was only for 5 hours; for a sunshine afternoon, after a grey morning and back to a grey evening, with more rain on the way; for a good working day, catching up on what I didn’t get to in this busy and depressing week; for a lovely uplifting catch-up phone chat with Gary Peterson ❤️; for tidying up a wardrobe and finding my well-worn polka dot leggings, which I’ve worn on both Caminos; for a Bakoven and a Camps Bay walk; for a long chat with Vivian Warby ❤️, both of us having had a terrible week; for a little VitD therapy in the sun this afternoon with my cats; and for being happy, healthy and free. 🙏💙 Continue reading →
