Corona Gratitude šŸ™

#grateful for sleeping right through last night without disturbance, even if it was only for 5 hours; for a sunshine afternoon, after a grey morning and back to a grey evening, with more rain on the way; for a good working day, catching up on what I didnā€™t get to in this busy and depressing week; for a lovely uplifting catch-up phone chat with Gary Peterson ā¤ļø; for tidying up a wardrobe and finding my well-worn polka dot leggings, which Iā€™ve worn on both Caminos; for a Bakoven and a Camps Bay walk; for a long chat with Vivian Warby ā¤ļø, both of us having had a terrible week; for a little VitD therapy in the sun this afternoon with my cats; and for being happy, healthy and free. šŸ™šŸ’™

The Sweet Service Award went to Woolworths in Camps Bay and its Manager Gary Arendse who sadly has moved to the Piazza da Luz branch in Sea Point, and the Sour Service Award went to Takealot.

Sweet Service Award goes to Woolworths; Sour Service Award goes to TakeaLot!

I spent some time updating the Collection and Delivery Restaurant list today.

Restaurants offering Food Delivery/Collection during 2021 Level 4 Lockdown: Cape Town and Winelands.

Iā€™m looking forward to a quiet me-weekend.

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March 2020 and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December, Ā extended to 15 February on 11 January 2021, extended but relaxed on 1 February, and relaxed back to Level 1 on 1 March 2021, moved back to Adjusted Level 2 on 31 May, moved back to level 3 on 16 June, and moved back to Adjusted Level 4 on 28 June Ā is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
