Corona Gratitude ๐Ÿ™

#Grateful for a quiet and peaceful me-day, being proactive in writing three Blogposts for the week ahead, as well as an afternoon nap; for the fabulous peace and quiet in our building, with only one tenant left; for missing out on Loadshedding tonight, and planning around that for the next two days; for a lovely refreshing two hour walk, up the 100 Houghton Steps, fetching the two McWilliam brothers who are helping me clean up Camps Bay for their Rondebosch Boys High Community Service project, finding litter in bushes left by homeless persons; and for being happy, healthy, and free ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™ Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude ๐Ÿ™

#Grateful for a successful day; for getting up early to finish all my work so that I could squeeze in a power walk up 100 Houghton Steps, and coming down my secret Bakoven lanes with a total of 100 steps, being protected against the very strong Southeaster, receiving 300 Discovery points; for my Dinkel poppyseed rolls being ready for me; for an interesting meeting at Origin Roasting, drinking a lovely Nigiro Earl Grey Bloom tea; for a good Utopia Status meeting with Dilmah Earl Grey tea, crowned by a rainbow; for a quick pop in at Grand Pavilion, but the owner wasnโ€™t there; for a cosy soup-in-bed evening; for Kfm playing great music to finish my steps for today; and for being happy, healthy and free. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™ Continue reading →

#Grateful for a cooler day, fog rolling in from Lunchtime onwards, not clearing, ahead of a major storm; for a hardworking day; for a power walk up the 100 Houghton Steps, up to Ingleside Road, and then to Woolies, buying soup ingredients for the cold weather and rain coming, and gaining 300 Discovery points; for a productive afternoon tackling a major maintenance quote challenge for our apartment block, exceeding R1 million, someone having lost the plot ๐Ÿ˜ก; for a refreshing Bakoven walk, with only a hint of a sunset; for such s lovely response to my photographs of the sunset yesterday ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™; and for being happy, healthy, and free. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™ Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude ๐Ÿ™

#Grateful for a relaxed smooth-flowing day, preparing for my client meeting this afternoon; for always being spoilt with a tea and a biscuit treat at our Anatoli meetings; for hearing from my client Russell about the special 2 for the price of one Smarties deal at FreshStop, on a bigger box size, meaning Iโ€™m getting double the Smarties for the same price ๐Ÿ‘; for a weather change as I drove home, with fog rolling in at Camps Bay, the temperature dropping from 28 C earlier today to 19C, making it easy to go out for a power walk, up the 100 Houghton Steps and then down First Crescent and Camps Bay Drive, to the Beachfront, with sunsets of a different kind, hiding behind the fog in part, earning 300 Discovery points; for two Discovery Gameboard plays, being able to get a Woolies R100 voucher; for a delicious homemade omelet with shelled peas, prosciutto, and cheese mmmmm; and for being happy, healthy, and free. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™ Continue reading →
