Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for a fabulous day, flowing smoothly, with more food indulgence and meeting new and old friends; for getting my work done early this morning; for breakfast at Firefly CafĂŠ with Judy Lamprecht of Deja Brew in Strand, a member restaurant of my Lockdown Sit-Down, Delivery & Collection Restaurants Cape Town & Winelands Facebook Group, and her husband Michiel; for an energetic walk to Clifton and back, with good cardio, gaining a surprising 500 points; for getting overgrown tree branches from the next door erf cut back today; for a good meeting with a prospective client in Constantia; for a wonderful afternoon spent with Michele Antelme in her beautiful cottage and garden, having fabulous snacks, some Cassis treats, and gin and pink tonic, being unconnected from the Internet, a three hour treat ❤️❤️❤️; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for all the glorious rain that has fallen since last night, with a happy garden, and it not being too chilly; for two walking gaps in between the rain, allowing me a Camps Bay walk and a Woolies shop on the way at lunchtime, and an afternoon one in Bakoven with slight drizzle; for the amazing kindness of receiving a bunch of roses from Woolies Manager Gary Arendse for Women’s Day, so spoilt with this branch so close by; for being so inspired by all the stories of the women restaurant owners in the Cape, posted here as well as in the Facebook Group; for surviving a dreadful attack in a Camps Bay Facebook Group; for a rainy day afternoon snooze; for dancing the balance of my steps to Kfm; for a Discovery Cashback for my healthy Woolies food purchases; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →
