Grateful for a storm day with rain and sun, rain and sun; for a peaceful sleep; for first reaction to my Door Lock moves, the Fire inspector making a first visit; for two Discovery Gameboard plays; for a busy working day; for a walk to the Camps Bay Hardware store, rewarded with a short-lived rainbow; for being warm on such a cold day, the cats even preferring to be inside 😻😻; and for being happy, healthy, and free. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

#grateful for a peaceful night’s sleep; for a beautiful day, at 18C and sunny, and feeling the love from good friends; for getting my client work done so that I could leave home with a clear conscience, after a Bakoven walk; for picking up an order at Hartlief at High Constantia, the service sadly not matching that of the Garden’s Centre branch; for exceptional service at Woolworths and Checkers at Constantia Emporium 👏👏👏; for a lovely afternoon at the home of Rose Klein and Werner, spoilt with the lovely lunch of Gulasch; Kartoffelknödel (dumplings) and red cabbage, evoking memories Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for another peaceful and relaxed day; for surviving another noise disturbance in the early hours of this morning, getting about 6 hours of sleep in total; for an admin morning, planning my week ahead, and writing some Blogposts; for a Woolies walk; for savouring the sun when it came out this afternoon; for a loooong chat with Michele Antelme, like we used to have in the early Lockdown days last year, such a treat; for a late afternoon sunset Bakoven walk, a few drops of rain falling; and for being happy, healthy and free. 🙏💙 Continue reading →
