Saturday 8 January 2022, Day 100 of Level 1 😷

Corona Lockdown Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for a beautiful day, at 32 C, the hottest day so far this summer, attracting the largest mumber of beach goers I have ever seen here; for feeling better enough to travel to the relatively empty Waterfront, through a manic Camps Bay at 11h00 already, to the opening of the Protégé art pop up exhibition in the former Balducci’s space, the initiative of Barbara Lenhard and Florian Gast; Continue reading →

#grateful for an amazing day, how lucky l am; for a beautiful sunny day, warm in the sun but chilly in the shade, at 17C, ahead of a crazy storm day expected tomorrow; for getting all my writing finished in time, to fit in a Houghton Drive/Steps walk; for fetching poppyseed baguettes at Paris Cape Town just after 2 pm, their closing time too early for me, but they were still open, and owner Laurent was generous in gifting these to me as a thank you for my blogpost about his bakery which I posted yesterday; for a lovely status meeting at Utopia, which turned into a wine tasting when the Siris Continue reading →
