Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful that every cloud has a silver lining, no matter how dark the cloud, a day very different to my usually happy go lucky days; for waking up early and getting my work completed early; for a beautiful sky day, with lots of clouds, and the rain clouds rolling in now; for a refreshing walk to Woolies, to buy veggies for a rainy day soup, the soup turning out to be super tasty by adding the left-over Mauritian sausage dish by Michele mmmm; for a second sunset walk through Bakoven, bumping into siblings Mel and Jason, who took over Roots Café and Kitchen a month ago, having written about them earlier this week; and for being healthy and Free. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

#Grateful for a most fabulous day, with surprises and super organized, packing a lot in; for an early start to my work, so that I could attend a 10h00 meeting, with the confirmation of my third restaurant client, this one brand new, opening next month, starting work on it straight away❤️; for amazing service to have a slow leak in my car tyre fixed at Supa Quick at the Total Garage on Main Road, Sea Point, taking 10 minutes and R100 to remove a screw 👏; for a celebratory chocolate shop at Tomes in the Waterfront, its Garden’s Centre branch having closed down; for a spoil cat food buy at Woolies, Whiskas pouches per box of 12 now Continue reading →
