From posting amateurish food preparation videos in his home kitchen at the beginning of Level 5 Lockdown, Chef Luke Dale Roberts is stepping up his game, entering the Food Delivery market as of 9 May, with a high-end Gourmet Hamper offering choice, making him the most expensive Delivery offering by far, bizarre in a time when every family is tightening its belts, given the economic catastrophe which the Corona Virus Lockdown is causing in our country. Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for another stunning day, with a bit of mist early this morning; for a long walk to the shops, and to the home of Petra to collect my new cotton masks; for good service at the Camps Bay pharmacy; for a fabulous Vit D snooze on the terrace; for the delivery of some more BioMedCan SLEEP CBD capsules by courier; for being reassured by Councillor Nicola Jowell about going into Level 4 on Friday; for it being International Dance Day today, and for how starting dancing three and a half years has changed my life, bringing out my inner 18 year old teenager, and is keeping me fit and healthy💃; for two Discovery Vitality Gameboard plays today; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

Cake Challenge

The Top 4 were to bake a cake ‘fit for a queen‘ in the first hour, it not being known initially that a Finalist would be eliminated in each half.  Roxi was happy, desserts and cakes being her fortĂŠ. Pastry Chef Lorraine Meaney from the Cape Grace hotel, a guest in Season 1, joined the kitchen, and set the challenge of a Cardamom Lemon Chocolate gâteau.  Chef Lorraine was the Head Pastry Chef Continue reading →
