Saturday 6 November 2021, Day 37 of Level 1 😷

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for a mixed day of energy and of relaxation; for a cool day of 19C; for a light traffic drive to Harvest Culture Eaterie at Tyger Falls Waterfront for a Status meeting, served my favorite Dilmah Earl Grey tea with a slice of their newest Baked Cheesecake cake addition, so beautifully presented; for getting a Business Card designed at Wizardz in the Waterfront, using a special, realizing that for what I do I need a card, mine being at least 3 years out of date; for a shock discovery of the sign of the times that CNA and the Post Office have closed down in the Waterfront, although the post boxes are Continue reading →

Sunday 17 October 2021, Day 17 of Level 1 😷

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for a lovely winter weekend, raining overnight and on both mornings, ending off with a sunny 16C this afternoon but with a chill in the Southerly wind blowing; for a most relaxed day; for going to the Labia to see ‘Off the Rails’, travelling to Paris, Girona, Barcelona, and Palma in Mallorca, the closest I’ll get to travel overseas this year; for a quick shop at the Woolies at Lifestyle on Kloof, definitely not my favorite branch; for a Haagen-Dasz treat; for a Bakoven walk; for 2 fabulous Harvest Culture Eaterie (at Tyger Falls Waterfront) reviews on the Cape Town Restaurants: Good Bad & Nasty Facebook Group 💙💙; Continue reading →

Saturday 12 June 2021, Day 13 of Adjusted Level 2 😷

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for a beautiful 22C day, with a misty start; for surviving new noisy renters of Sacha Jack’s Ebbtide apartment 201, partying until 3h00 this morning 😡😡😡; for getting most of my work done by the time I had to leave home; for a wonderful spoil 3 hour breakfast meeting at my client Harvest Culture Eaterie in Tyger Falls Waterfront, even taking a walk around the lake to walk off the breakfast; for a quick pop in at Utopia to do a World Gin Day shoot; for a Camps Bay walk with Vivian Warby, and for being happy, healthy and free.🙏💙 Continue reading →
