Corona Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for a wonderful day, with more abundance 🙏; for an early breakfast, having to leave 185 on Beach after 2 days of generous spoiling by Jeanette and Richard Loring; for a coffee/tea stop at Fancy Franks in Somerset West, owned by Michael Townsend, meeting GM Duncan Bruce, not having seen each other in years, since we met at Hartford House; for getting to my Harvest Culture Eaterie in the Tyger Waterfront spot on at 11h00, despite a traffic jam on the N2, as a result of a police van having done a somersault and landing on its roof 😱; for being appointed by Harvest Culture to continue with their Social Media after a probationary period 🙏🙏🙏; for having such a good afternoon at Utopia, saying hello to Jo Facey Pentz from Camps Bay, meeting a lovely diner in the lift going up to Utopia, for welcoming Tracy who won an Utopia Tasting Menu giveaway, when I ran a competition in July, requesting our Utopia fans to send us a pic of their Utopia Cape Town memory, for greeting Alan Wolfson and Alan Hoffman, and for meeting a German couple, she recognizing me from walking in Camps Bay; for my Dinkel rolls waiting for me; for the joy of seeing Earl Grey and Minsky, well cared for in my absence 😻😻; for a walk to the Tidal Pool in my special Camps Bay; for being back home again; and for being happy, healthy, and free. 🙏💙

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March 2020 and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December,  extended to 15 February on 11 January 2021, extended but relaxed on 1 February, and relaxed back to Level 1 on 1 March 2021, moved back to Adjusted Level 2 on 31 May, moved back to level 3 on 16 June, and moved back to Adjusted Level 4 on 28 June, extended by two weeks on 11 July, and returned to Level 3 on 26 July, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
