Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for a lovely rainy morning, helping me to get an 8 hour sleep, a good catch up 💙; for a good writing and working morning in my bed, Mr Grey cuddled up next to me; for a good walk to Clifton 4th Beach, with a 200 point Discovery reward; for a successful working afternoon, getting me up to date; for Discovery Insure finally taking its payment 😱; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙

My Sweet Service Award went to the City’s Civic Centre for its amazing service in renewing my motor vehicle license yesterday. The Sour Service Award went to Discovery Insure for having to be pressurized to take my payment!

My Grey is lively and happy, running up and down the apartment, sitting on my desk when I work, and having developed an appetite second to none. He is very thin, I just feeling fur and bones. He has his own Royal Canin kitten pellets, which Minsky seems to like too. Mr Grey loved the smell of my food, even cooked potatoes. Then he had his first taste of Sheba tinned fish, giving him some of Minsky’s leftover, and he licked the plate clean. He kept returning to that part of the kitchen wanting more, and even got halfway up the stove, hanging onto the oven door, perhaps getting the whiff of the potatoes. Minsky is slightly less aggro, but not yet bonding.

It’s nice and cool, a good video-in-bed night. ❤️ Early to bed with Loadshedding at 22h00.

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December, and extended to 15 February on 11 January, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
