Friday 17 April 2020, Day 33 of SA Corona Virus, Day 22 of SA Lockdown 😷
Corona Gratitude 🙏
#Grateful for another beautiful day, as well as beautiful sunset; for a slow start to the day, having done most of the Blog writing last night; for a chat across the road with Ashleigh Fleming and her Dirk; and for a call with Linda-Louise Roosenschoon, definitely getting together after Lockdown loosens; for the excellent offer from Discovery Insure, over R1000 less than my current car insurer which has not contacted me at all, and which I have now let go; for letting go an old issue with a chef doing good community work now; for dancing to Kfm; and for feeling healthy and happy. 🙏💙
I did some wardrobe tidying this morning, and found some cotton scarves I no longer use, which I will donate to Petra Renate Quinlan who is making cotton cloth masks for the Red Cross Children’s Hospital 🙏👏
Barry Aaron, owner of KitKat aka Charlie Pumpkin, came looking for his cat, my sweet visitor, and found him on the neighboring empty erf. Such a gorgeous cat, but a wanderer.
Woolworths closed all its prepared takeaway food counters today, and I suspect that Pick n Pay has done the same.
SA Corona Status: 2783 cases 50 deaths 😷😥

The Corona Virus Lockdown, announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier this week to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, and subsequently extended to 30 April, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
