Wednesday 24 June 2020, Day 24 of Level 3, after 66 days of Levels 4 and 5 😷
Corona Gratitude 🙏
#Grateful for another fabulous day, ahead of five winter days from tomorrow; for a good morning of writing; for a walk to Clifton Fourth Beach, with minimal litter to pick up; for chatting to David Raad, owner of Caprice about restaurants’ frustrations of not knowing the reopening date nor regulations, the topic of my Blogpost today, and he telling me that a coffee brand restaurant group has opened its doors to sit-down already, ignoring all regulations; for getting myself immersed in the Sectional Titles Act and the Body Corporate AGM, receiving some very good advice; for some dancing to exceed my step goal, in addition to a walk to the Tidal Pool for some sunset pics; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙
Today I saw a group of about 10 Camps Bay High learners, walking from the school to the shops, not one of them wearing a mask. Yesterday I saw a similar-sized group of young girls walking in civvies in Bakoven, also with none wearing a mask. 😷
The Sectional Titles Act is not for the faint-hearted, but it’s always good to be reminded of one’s rights. More bedside reading on the topic tonight. 😱
SA Corona Status 111796 cases 2205 deaths 😷😥

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, and lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
