Friday 22 January 2021, Day 26 of Level 3 Adjusted, Day 303 of Lockdown 😷
Corona Gratitude 🙏
#Grateful for a most interesting unpredictable day, turning out fabulously; for an early walk, loving these before writing time; for an organized morning, meeting my time deadlines; for a quick meeting with my Cleaning Team; for a fabulous outcome of a meeting, securing new funding for the next three months for my cleaning team; for receiving an apology from the Sandak-Lewin CEO Carl Smit for a ten day delay in sending Henry a Petty Cash top-up, after I gave his company a blast for its tardiness; for meeting the lovely Marlene’ Eggersglusz van Duuren, both having German roots and family connections with Hannover, and lots more in common, who came to buy my SwitchBitch Book3; for a Tidal Pool clean up walk with my Cleaning Team; for reaching my first 5000 Discovery points of the year, 45000 to go to get to Diamond; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙
Criticizing the poor service by Sandak-Lewin regarding the Petty Cash payment, Henry needing to make some urgent purchases from it, I received a blast from Carl Smit, saying that he is sick and tired of my ‘Social Media Tirades’. I asked him to stop reading my posts and rather focus on fixing his company and its service. He is not a Facebook Friend. 🥵 I smell a Trustee complaining to him about me…. , also stalking me. They absolutely do not have to read what I post. I did remind him that I am a client of the company and will not tolerate being bullied by him. 🥵
My Sweet Award went to Dinkel Bakery, and the Sour Award to Audi Century City:

This morning the Camps Bay Ratepayers Association (Chris Willemse, Richard Bendel, Theresa Massaglia, Chris Von Ulmenstein), Community who Cares (Alan Marsh, Theresa Massaglia), the Camps Bay CSI (Ryan Rudy),and Councillor Nicola Jowell met to discuss the continuation of my Camps Bay Clean operation, to be jointly funded for the next three months by the CSI/Community who Cares, and the Ratepayers Association. We will now work three days per week. Councillor Nicola thanked the CSI and Ratepayers Association for finding a funding solution, a collaboration for the good of Camps Bay, in keeping it clean. 👏👏👏
I will never get my electricity so low to be ‘loadshed’, a first and last time 😱. My meter is deep in a cupboard, and I cannot see the units left. It meant that I went to bed early in the dark, and got a good night’s sleep, clearly meant to be. 😴😴😴
I’ve just had Rose Klein’s lovely home-made Spätzle, with cheese, champignons and celery for supper. #Mmmmm

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December, and extended to 15 February on 11 January, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
