Corona Gratitude ๐Ÿ™

#Grateful for another beautiful day, the South Easter pumping now; for having been able to work with my Cleaning Team for the past three months, and having built up a great team, learning from them too; for two easy-going walks through Camps Bay; for my client receiving two fabulous reviews on the Good Bad & Nasty Cape Town Restaurants Facebook Group, the 11th and 12th ones since I started working on the marketing almost three months ago ๐Ÿ’™; for a lovely sleep this afternoon; for my Kits having kissed and made up, now accepting each other as baby brother and sister, an anxious 10 days for me ๐Ÿ˜ป๐Ÿ˜ป; for receiving fantastic feedback from the Camps Bay residents with my team for our cleaning work; for having such peace and quiet in our apartment block, only one other apartment being occupied ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘; and for being happy and healthy. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™ Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude ๐Ÿ™

#Grateful for a wonderful day, my most sociable and restaurant dining day since the start of Lockdown; for a lovely cool start to the day, not becoming warmer than 24C today, and ending with a drizzle; for a huff and puff quick walk up to midway Geneva Drive, to show my cleaning team a project to tackle, only having an hour for them, giving me 300 Discovery points; for a delicious Breakfast at Quentin at Oakhurst; for a late lunch with Stuart Bailey at Utopia; for an early dinner with Katie Friedman and her son Iggy at NV-80, my first visit to the Sea Point restaurant; and for being happy and healthy. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™ Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude ๐Ÿ™

#Grateful for a most interesting unpredictable day, turning out fabulously; for an early walk, loving these before writing time; for an organized morning, meeting my time deadlines; for a quick meeting with my Cleaning Team; for a fabulous outcome of a meeting, securing new funding for the next three months for my cleaning team; for receiving an apology from the Sandak-Lewin CEO Carl Smit for a ten day delay in sending Henry a Petty Cash top-up, after I gave his company a blast for its tardiness; for meeting the lovely Marlene’ Eggersglusz van Duuren, both having German roots and family connections with Hannover, and lots more in common, who came to buy my SwitchBitch Book3; for a Tidal Pool clean up walk with my Cleaning Team; for reaching my first 5000 Discovery points of the year, 45000 to go to get to Diamond; and for being happy and healthy. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™ Continue reading →

Saturday 16 January 2021, Day 20 of Level 3 Adjusted, Day 297 of Lockdown ๐Ÿ˜ท

Corona Gratitude ๐Ÿ™

#Grateful for a beautiful day after rain overnight, warming up to 23C; for a fragmented sleep of three parts, not enough in total; for a very very long Telegram call of advice with a local, helping me with an issue Iโ€™ve been dealing with this week, the quality of the call being excellent, with no reconnections like on Whatโ€™s App, my first one; for a walk up to Clifton 4th Beach, scoring 200 Discovery points; for a one hour Skype Committee session with my Canadian tour operator, so grateful to be part of this, and seeing a training video they have created for new tourist guides, in which I also feature; for a pop in at my client; for the Loadshedding scheduled for 14h00 not happening, as it would have affected the Skype call; and for being happy and healthy. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™ Continue reading →
