#Grateful for a lovely day, warmer than forecast at 27C; for a very busy working day, the short week making itself felt; for a very short and sweet nap this afternoon after only 3 hours of sleep last night, energizing me to do a Bakoven and Camps Bay walk, spoilt with a lovely sunset, and 300 Discovery points, the first ones since Wednesday last week; for a call from Emily O’Ryan who promised me another follow-up interview for her book; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙

In my sleeplessness I shopped cat food at Checkers60 in the early hours of this morning, buying two boxes of the cat food pouches, to spread the delivery cost! It is the second time that I have received fewer items than ordered, and a completely incorrect brand, my cats being Whiskas lovers. Then they take 15% extra payment, in case the replaced item is more expensive. While they arrived punctually at 9h00, this unreliability of not getting what one orders makes me determined to never use this service again! 😡😡😡

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December,  extended to 15 February on 11 January, extended but relaxed on 1 February, and relaxed back to Level 1 on 1 March 2021, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
