Wednesday 2 June 2021, Day 3 of Adjusted Level 2 😷
Corona Gratitude 🙏
#Grateful for sleeping through the early morning Loadshedding, but not so lucky tonight, having 20 minutes to finish this post for the next Loadshedding; for getting the preparation for my client meeting completed in very good time, allowing me time to walk to Woolies, to cash in on the R100 voucher I received for my two Discovery Gameboard plays by buying Sheba tinned cat food, which my babies adore, striking double luck, as they are on a special; for finding parking to drop off my laundry in Sea Point; for a good Status meeting at Anatoli, always spoilt with tea and biscuits, rusks today; for a very windy walk through Bakoven, mainly down Kreef Lane, being wind protected, with Vivian Warby, blessed with lovely clouds and the sunset; and for being happy, healthy, and free. 🙏💙
My Blogpost today was my monthly update of the Cape Town and Winelands restaurant openings and closures since the start of Lockdown, 80 new openings and 102 closures.

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December, extended to 15 February on 11 January, extended but relaxed on 1 February, and relaxed back to Level 1 on 1 March 2021, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
