Monday 15 November 2021, Day 46 of Level 1 😷

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for a lovely sunny 22C day; for a stay-at-home working day; for the day/night lights at the apartment block working again, at least on my side, after not doing so for almost a week; for a walk to Bakoven; for taking photographs of a French tourist group of 40 pax staying at the newkings boutique hotel and eating at Zest Restaurant this evening; for stopping in Camps Bay on my way home, taking a walk on the beach front, with lovely sunsets, seeing a brand new Marcels frozen yoghurt outlet but closed for the day, for a light shop at Woolworths, for walking past the new Cause Effect Bar below the Bay Hotel; for Daily Maverick selecting one of my Bakoven cloud pics to post last week; and for being happy, healthy and free. 🙏💙

My Blogpost today was a Review of the new Shoreditch House Restaurant at the reopened The Winchester 😱

Restaurant Review : New Shoreditch House restaurant at the refurbished The Winchester Boutique Hotel is not yet ready to receive diners!

A new Nigerian checked in at EbbTide apartment 201 today, the apartment of Sacha Jack. I saw them in the garage, and went to say hello and gave them a warning about noise disturbance, which I had to endure from two apartments (101 and 201) last night. They glared at me, not interested in any niceties, looking intimidatingly big and unfriendly. 😡😡😡😡

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March 2020 and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December,  extended to 15 February on 11 January 2021, extended but relaxed on 1 February, and relaxed back to Level 1 on 1 March 2021, moved back to Adjusted Level 2 on 31 May, moved back to level 3 on 16 June, and moved back to Adjusted Level 4 on 28 June, extended by two weeks on 11 July,  returned to Level 3 on 26 July, returned to Level 2 on 13 September, and returned to Level 1 on 1 October is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
