Corona Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for a beautiful day, relaxed, the sun being back, but with sudden showers in-between, with close to 8 hours continuous sleep, all making me feel on top of the world again, and just wanting to dance 💃; for spending almost all day writing the copy for the Zest website, now done and dusted; for a Vit D dose on the terrace with the cats, loving it; for a exerting walk in the sun, up the Houghton Steps and down my secret Bakoven lanes, when a sudden shower came from nowhere, getting sopping wet, but it didnt last long, and I just kept walking 😱; for being so grateful that my diabetes is no more, checking my blood sugar once a month, at 5,8 today; and for being happy, healthy, and free 🙏💙

The Delta variant seems to be a vicious strain, and not to be messed with, even if one has had one vaccination already. Reports from Joburg are shocking, hospitals running out of oxygen and hospital beds. 😷😪🥲 Keep safe and warm. ❤️

I’m giving myself the night off from work, to watch a movie, the first time in a month.🍿

SA Corona Status: 2 046 311 cases 61507 deaths 3 305 965 vaccinations

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March 2020 and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December,  extended to 15 February on 11 January 2021, extended but relaxed on 1 February, and relaxed back to Level 1 on 1 March 2021, moved back to Adjusted Level 2 on 31 May, moved back to level 3 on 16 June, and moved back to Adjusted Level 4 on 28 June  is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
