#grateful for a lovely relaxed day, after an unbroken sleep of six hours 💙; for a Social Media morning; for putting my civic duty of cleaning a specific litter hotspot in Camps Bay ahead of my steps and points quest, being helped by Learner Marc from Bakoven; for a lovely dinner at Utopia with Tania Harrison, watching the sun set, meeting interesting diners, and being entertained by George Sax 🎷; for a pop-in glass of wine and belly dancing 💃 at Anatoli; for my cats being happy to have me back home 😻😻; and for being happy, healthy and free. Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for a beautiful day at 28C, with almost no wind; for surviving the day with only 2 1/2 hours of sleep after terrible noise disturbance by renters of the apartment above me until 3h00 this morning, as well as Full Moon; to Emma at The 41 for strengthening me and pulling up my spirits with a Dilmah tea, and a delicious croissant with egg and bacon, served on the beachfront lawn 💙; for a fabulous community beach clean up, with Camps Bay High learners and drama students from the LATMA Academy at the Theatre on the Bay joining in; for finally giving up on my Reebok shoes which I bought in Havana 20 months ago, easily having walked 4500 km in them, now for Mr Grey to play with, he loving chewing the shoelaces; for a high-cardio walk to 3rd Beach in Clifton and back, earning 300 Discovery points; for a second beach clean this afternoon at the Tidal Pool, two High School learners and a mom joining me in removing masses of litter; for the peace and quiet in our building tonight, as the noise creators checked out this morning; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

#Grateful for another beautiful day, the South Easter pumping now; for having been able to work with my Cleaning Team for the past three months, and having built up a great team, learning from them too; for two easy-going walks through Camps Bay; for my client receiving two fabulous reviews on the Good Bad & Nasty Cape Town Restaurants Facebook Group, the 11th and 12th ones since I started working on the marketing almost three months ago 💙; for a lovely sleep this afternoon; for my Kits having kissed and made up, now accepting each other as baby brother and sister, an anxious 10 days for me 😻😻; for receiving fantastic feedback from the Camps Bay residents with my team for our cleaning work; for having such peace and quiet in our apartment block, only one other apartment being occupied 👏👏👏; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

#Grateful for a very relaxed day; for it being sunny, but a very windy day, so I walked with Carmen from my cleaning team up to First Beach Clifton, picking up litter from Glen Beach onwards, being more wind-protected in Clifton; for a quick pop in at Pick n Pay to get my Daily Maverick 368, with hardly any customers 👏; for a spoil croissant at Firefly Café, loving that Manager Jason came to sit down at my table to chat, not having seen each other in a month 💙; for Vit D therapy on my terrace this afternoon; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →
