Corona Lockdown Gratitude 🙏
#grateful for a slightly scary day turning into a fabulous day, getting better as the day progressed; for preparing Status Reports for Utopia and Anatoli, but not being able to print them as my right hand could not get to work today, getting it done at Wizardz in the Waterfront ; for getting an implant tooth replaced, made by my dentist with his high-tech 3D machine, being able to smile again 💙; for short and sweet Status meetings; for deciding to have a belated breakfast at Labotessa Hotel & Café and work from there, chatting to the fabulous owner Johan du Plessis, congratulating him on the VIP guest they had stay at the Hotel earlier this week, and being spoilt by the ever generous Johan #thankyou ❤️; for a veg shop at Fideli on Parliament Street; for filling my car with petrol, at R1004 for the full tank 😱, with excellent service from Mike at BP President, despite having to wait a while for him; for a quick Sea Point walk; for a lovely dinner at Zest Restaurant with my newkings boutique hotel clients and executives of Cape Town Tourism, who are launching an exciting international Cape Town Marketing campaign on Monday, Zest and newkings being part of it, a wonderful evening, each of us trying the 5 course Summer Tasting Menu at R295 with a prawn bonus, and receiving fabulous service by Josie Milner ❤️; for Minsky waiting for me when I got home, a relief 😻; and for being happy, healthy and free. 🙏💙
My Blogpost was about Restaurant JAN receiving a Michelin one star accolade for the seventh year running earlier this week.
Lucky number seven for Restaurant JAN in Nice, in being awarded a Michelin one Star!

I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
