Celebrating Vegan Month with a B-Well Vegan Mayonnaise Chocolate Cake in a Cup!

It is clear to see that the Vegan trend is growing by leaps and bounds.  In Camps Bay, for example, three restaurants out of twenty in the suburb are almost completely Vegan in the fare they offer, particularly okja and Plant Food, while Firefly Café has a large percentage of Vegan dishes. Even regular restaurants have a number of Vegan dishes on their menus.

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for a lovely sunny day, not too warm at 18C; for a good night’s sleep; for diving right into my new Environment portfolio regarding cleaning the Camps Bay Beachfront; for receiving two boxes of Vegan products from B-Well, promoting Vegan Month; for easily baking a Vegan Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake in a Mug, missing my MasterChick Jenny Stephens, it not being as fluffy and light as I expected it to be; for a walk to Camps Bay, including a Pick n Pay shop, being lucky to have the new nice cashier again, and for a walk in Bakoven, with little litter today 🙏; for two Discovery Vitality Gameboard plays, scoring 360 points, enough to buy a R100 Woolworths voucher for only 750 Miles (R75) together with Miles left over from last week; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for a sunny day, slightly cooler at 19C; for a long deep sleep; for receiving another delivery of ingredients for the B-Well online cooking with Chef Jennifer Morris, which turned out to be great fun, doing it alone for the first time, missing my MasterChick Jenny Stephens; for a walk to Camps Bay this afternoon, meeting with Marius Blanc and Zahrah of The 41, to discuss our next Camps Bay Beach Clean Up ón 31 October; for being able to borrow a potato peeler which I don’t own, doing so little cooking, least of all of potatoes, from Chris Papayannes at Tindlovu, as Pick n Pay does not sell them; for dancing the rest of my steps to Kfm 💃; for receiving two Discovery Gameboard plays and 360 Miles; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →
