#grateful for a day that started off badly turning out to be so fabulous; for a busy work morning preparing for a client meeting; for having time to do Bakoven walk; for collecting my bed linen at the laundry; for seeing Zest Restaurant set up beautifully for the first time, with furniture, glasses, and cutlery; for an excellent status meeting of newkings boutique hotel and Zest restaurant, receiving compliments from both my clients for the awareness created in just two weeks since starting on the two accounts; for a Woolies shop in the Piazza da Luz; for getting the day off tomorrow by one of my clients 🙏; for a lovely releasing walk with Vivian Continue reading →

#Grateful for a beautiful day, at 28C, no wind, helping the firefighters to waterbomb the last bits of the fire this morning; for the firefighters who did such a fantastic job in looking after Cape Town in the past two days ❤️; for a long working and writing day, accomplishing my goals; for a long refreshing power walk, not thinking initially that I would have so much energy, gaining 300 Discovery points; for a lovely sunset treat in Bakoven on my way back; and for being happy, healthy, and free. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

#grateful for Minsky coming back home, very worried, 11h00 being the latest homecoming ever 🙀😻, she exhausted and sleeping all day; for a few drops of rain, making the Cape Town tradition of the start of winter being over Easter true, very overcast all morning, but clearing this afternoon; for Banele coming to clean Camps Bay and Bakoven with me; for playing Easter Bunny by handing out Easter eggs to the Camps Bay CSI car guards; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

Sweet Service Award goes to LAMTA and Camps Bay High; Sour Service Award goes to Camps Bay Apartments/EbbTide Apartment 202!

 

The Sweet Service Award goes to students of the LAMTA Musical Drama Academy at the Theatre on the Bay, and learners of Camps Bay High, for joining in my monthly Camps Bay Clean beach cleaning action last Saturday.  Sponsored by The 41 restaurant in Camps Bay, volunteers meet opposite the restaurant, receive a garbage bag, and are allocated designated cleaning areas. The Camps Bay Clean Community Beach Clean is held every last Saturday of the month, from 10h30 – 12h00. Continue reading →
