Zest Restaurant introduces its new Summer Tasting Menu!

 

Zest Restaurant has launched its five course Summer Tasting Menu, at R295. A bread, butter and tomato jam course is a sixth bonus course. It is available from Mondays – Thursdays for Lunch and Dinner.

The Restaurant offers a five course Vegetarian menu too, at R245.

#grateful for a special day, having to get up early to work, to do what I needed to do in a short working morning; for organizing balloons for Zest Chef Pavel’s birthday today, also celebrating that his Instagram account reached 1000 followers today, a year after I opened the account for him; for Patso Ivanov and I taking Chef Pavel to Lunch at Homespun by Matt Schreuder at the Andros Hotel in Claremont, only having 2 hours for the lunch, just enough time for the three course menu, joined by Chef Matt at the end of our lunch, comparing notes about opening a new restaurant during Continue reading →

Spate of new restaurant openings in Cape Town & Winelands, Greenhouse closure: November 2021

 

With the country at Level 1 for over a month, the restaurant tide is turning, with business in the restaurant industry is improving.

For the first time in a number of months a number of new restaurants are opening in Cape Town and the Winelands, including Rykaarts Stellenbosch, MiCaffé in Bree Street with more restaurants about to open in The Barracks, and in Camps Bay Beach House, Bovine, The Pottery, and Cause & Effect are opening this month.

Since the beginning of Lockdown 19 months ago, 114 new restaurants have opened.

Zest Restaurant in Sea Point launches new Vegetarian Spring Menu !

 

Zest Restaurant at the newkings boutique hotel has launched a new Vegetarian Spring Menu, its Meat/Fish Spring Menu having been launched just over three weeks ago, and receiving rave reviews. Both Spring Menus consist of 5 courses at the very generous price of R198 each.

Zest owner and operator Chef Pavel’s Mediterranean and Asian fusion restaurant has Chef Scott Melvin as Head Chef, and he and his team prepare ‘less is more’ sharing dishes, most cooked on the fire grill and offered in Small and Large plate sizes.  The restaurant mantra is Zest: fresh and local at its best.
