The Sweet Service Award goes to Royal Canin and Pet Heaven, for an amazing promotion which offers kitten owners a R300 voucher for the Royal Cannin Kitten dry food, which I was alerted to by my friend Elize Skriker. Â As there was no pet shop anywhere near to me, I had to call Pet Heaven, the delivery partner, purchase the product at R305 minus the voucher = R5 to pay, with zero delivery charge. An amazing gift for my new kitten Mr Grey. Â The delivery was promised for Monday initially, but has been brought forward to today, 24 hours after the order was placed. 
The Sweet Service Award goes to Camps Bay Law Enforcement and its acting head Officer Ivor Ramsay, a breath of fresh air who landed in our suburb during the start of Lockdown. The office has been very poorly manned in the two years since I returned to live in Camps Bay, and one rarely sees any officers walking the Promenade, which means that illegal trading, begging, unlicensed vehicles, alcohol consumption on the beaches, and littering go unchecked. A homeless person Michael Shange, who has been aggressively begging locals for contributions to his âBeach cleaningâ activity in Camps Bay in the past two months, but just taking the money and not cleaning, and has been seen walking along Camps Bay intoxicated, is being dealt with by the office, following a number of harassment complaints it has received from locals. 
The Sweet Service Award goes to Discovery Insure, for its amazing efficiency and generosity in sending an assessor to my house in Hermanus, which was badly damaged in the wind storm on 13 July, damaging two sliding doors as well as a bathroom window, at a repair cost of just over R40000. The assessor has been appointed by Discovery Insure to do the repair work. The invoice from a Hermanus builder to temporarily board up the damaged sections of the building was accepted by the company too, and is due to be paid out. What makes all of this so amazing is that I only switched to Discovery insure just short of three months ago.Â
