#grateful for a day that just got better and better, starting with a 7 1/2 hour continuous sleep; for it being nice and warm at 19C, a tiny taste of summer after the cold weeks; for a hard-working morning preparing for two Status meetings; for a Bakoven walk; for two excellent meetings, at Newkings Boutique Hotel and at Zest; for being able to get a gap at my dentist to fix my implant, which came loose again, without being charged ā¤ļø; for a visit to Chocolate by Tomes in the Waterfront Continue reading →

Sweet Service Award goes to Dr Wim de Beer; Sour Service Award goes to Pick n Pay ASAP!

 

The Sweet Service Award goes to my Dentist Dr Wim de Beer, in the Waterfront, who assisted me at short notice when a dental implant cracked, and came loose. I was on my way to Gordonā€™s Bay, and he was leaving for a two week break before I returned to Cape Town. I had to delay my departure to Gordonā€™s Bay so that he could reinstall the implant. Best of all is that he didnā€™t charge me a cent for this emergency procedure. It was done so quickly that I got to Gordon’s Bay before it got dark, despite late afternoon traffic.Ā  Continue reading →

#grateful for a special day šŸ™; for a good nights sleep in my newkings boutique hotel bed; for a spoil breakfast at Zest Restaurant; for an exciting reveal of the new Zest website, to go live at the end of the week šŸ‘; for being very lucky to get a late afternoon emergency appointment at my dentist, when an implant cracked last night, and not having to pay a cent for him to reinstate the implant šŸ™,, delaying my departure to Gordonā€™s Bay, so I worked from home for a while, Earl Grey so happy to see his mama, the first time since his arrival that I havenā€™t slept at homešŸ˜»; for a Bakoven walk; for a pleasant safe drive to Continue reading →

#Grateful for a hardworking day, even though my day was turned upside down with an early meeting, which got in the way of writing my Blogpost šŸ˜±; for winning a power struggle against a male supplier; for two builders coming to see the apartment building, giving me amazing insights into what maintenance problems we have and what needs to be fixed, definitely not needing millions of dollars of repair; for a beautiful sunny 19C day; for getting a gap at my dentist for tomorrow to fix the implant, pardon the pun; for a walk through Bakoven; and for being happy, healthy, and free. šŸ™šŸ’™ Continue reading →
