Corona Gratitude 🙏
#Grateful for another beautiful day, but cooler at 18C; for a busy writing day, writing two stories; for celebrating KitKat being with me for 6 months already, my Easter ‘present’, giving me so much love and joy, just like his ‘sister’ Minsky 😻😻; for harvesting some carrots from the garden; for a longer walk, up to Clifton 4th Beach, sadly with lots of litter alongside Glen Beach and Maidens Cove, being well rewarded by Discovery in Miles, being very close to getting back to Gold status for the third year running; for dancing to Kfm 💃;and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

I heard about International Coastal Clean Up Day on Saturday 19 September, and spontaneously decided to organise a Beach Clean Up in Camps Bay, the Cape Town suburb in which I live and in which I have been picking up litter for the past eighteen months, under the CAMPS BAY CLEAN name. While the turnout was lower than I had hoped for, the twenty volunteer locals managed to fill 25 bags with litter, between Glen Beach and the Tidal Pool in Camps Bay.
