Corona Gratitude ๐
#Grateful for a day of ๐๐๐๐๐, warmer today than yesterday despite a lower temperature forecast; for a late movie night last night, with the luxury for not having to get up early this morning; for Joel my homeless cleaner coming back to work after a monthโs absence, with all sorts of dramas where they live at Safe Space, mainly having their possessions stolen; for doing a deep clean at Glen Beach, at the Maidenโs Cove parking area, and really bad below the High School; for organizing a Beach Clean up for next Saturday, in honour of International Coastal Clean Up Day, together with Pick It Up run by Tracy Jackson and Rick Jackson; for a fabulous VitD snooze on the terrace all afternoon, getting a tan too; for another walk, through Bakoven, where I saw groups of youngsters walking towards Camps Bay without wearing masks ๐ท๐ฑ; and for being happy and healthy. ๐๐
Iโm happy that in general Camps Bay is looking far better litter-wise than it has done in ages. I bought Joel a coffee at Woolies, and then saw Chris Papayannes of Tindlovu as we left, with a catch-up chat. I popped in at The 41, to request a coffee donation for those coming to do the litter clean-up next week, seeing Marc Lottering there. Delighted to hear the generosity of owner Marius Blanc. ๐
Heavy traffic is snaking its way through Camps Bay now.
Some more dancing for steps ๐, and then itโs movie time in bed. Watching Comedian Kurt Schoonraadโs โLiving with the Germanโ. ๐ฑ๐๐๐

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, and lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
