185 on Beach is literally … on the beach in Gordon’s Bay, superb views and service!

Last week I was spoilt with a two day stay at 185 on Beach, a four star guest house as well as self-catering accommodation establishment located on Beach Road in Gordon’s Bay, a few steps from the town’s famous Bikini Beach.

What was intended as an Instagram training trade exchange became two days of spoiling by owners Richard and Jeanette Loring, and added to my portfolio of sunset photographs, given the fantastic location of 185 on Beach. Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for a warm sunny 17C day; for a working writing morning, feeling like a Monday, with today’s meetings moved to tomorrow, and with lots of client reviews coming in to which I reply; for an interview and walk with Atlantic Sun reporter Shahied Joseph about my Litter Cleaning in Camps Bay, Shahied seeing a rock skull in Bali Bay on our walk 😱; for being so impressed with Learner Marc Ostweiler’s report on his community project Litter Cleaning with me; for a Bakoven walk; for lovely Kfm Dansdag music; and for being happy, Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for a lovely Mother’s Day, receiving a call from a cheerful and happy Alex, full of the joys of the English spring ❤️❤️❤️; for sharing in the celebration of the day at Utopia, taking photographs, so special to have 2 tables with three generations in the restaurant, that it was fully booked for Lunch today, and so sweet that each of the waiters wished me Happy Mother’s Day too; for celebrating my Mother’s Day with an ice cream spoil at The Dairy Den in Sea Point; for a lovely Sunday afternoon sleep on a cool afternoon; for being able to get out of bed to do a litter clean up in three hotspots with the McWilliam brothers, who helped me last week as well; and for being happy, healthy, and free. Corona Gratitude 🙏
