Monday 5 October 2020, Day 15 of Level 1, Day 193 of Lockdown. 😷

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for such a fabulous Monday and start to a new week; for being spoilt with two restaurant invitations for today, the reopening day of Yumcious of Chef Jennifer Morris, and at Homespun by Matt in Bloubergstrand; for Henry finding Maya’s Sarong at the bottom of the pool when he cleaned it today; for a lovely weather day after a misty start; for a short sunset walk in Bloubergstrand, my only walk of the day; for a quick catfood shop at Checkers in Sea Point, offering by far the best Whiskas prices compared to Pick n Pay and TakeaLot, but such a pity that the service is so bad; for meeting such nice persons at our joint table at the Secret Supper Club at Homespun by Matt; for getting home safely from Blouberg just before curfew; for there being no damage to my car after last night’s taxi incident; and for being happy and healthy.🙏💙 Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for a near perfect weather day, after what we have been through this week, with only a slight breeze, at 22C; for a peaceful first walk through Camps Bay, with a Pick n Pay shop, spending my Discovery voucher on cat food in the main; for a lovely Vit D snooze on the terrace; for a surprise visit from Anne Marie von Tielmann and her son, whom I hadn’t seen since the beginning of the year, seeing her when she walked past while I was dressing Maya in a new Sarong; for a crazy second Camps Bay walk; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

Wednesday 29 April 2020, Day 34 of SA Lockdown, Day 45 of SA Corona Virus 😷

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for another stunning day, with a bit of mist early this morning; for a long walk to the shops, and to the home of Petra to collect my new cotton masks; for good service at the Camps Bay pharmacy; for a fabulous Vit D snooze on the terrace; for the delivery of some more BioMedCan SLEEP CBD capsules by courier; for being reassured by Councillor Nicola Jowell about going into Level 4 on Friday; for it being International Dance Day today, and for how starting dancing three and a half years has changed my life, bringing out my inner 18 year old teenager, and is keeping me fit and healthy💃; for two Discovery Vitality Gameboard plays today; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →
