Corona Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for a beautiful sunny 14C day but with a cold start and end; for a good night’s sleep; for a good working day, catching up, and finishing the last edit of a new Anatoli Turkish Restaurant website; for a longer Camps Bay walk, loving the crisp clean air, and seeing a lot of ’non-alcoholic beer’ being drunk at two restaurants at the Clifton end of Camps Bay đŸ˜±; a quick shop at Woolies, buying the cats their favorite Sheba tins from my Discovery Woolies voucher; for being spared Loadshedding; and for being happy, healthy, warm, and free. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

#grateful for a fabulous smooth-flowing day; for five and a half hours of sleep, yet energized throughout the day; for officially being welcomed on board at the New Kings Hotel in Sea Point, my newest client, in which another client is opening his new restaurant on 15 June, a most exciting project; for shopping at Checkers and Woolies, I’ll be in this hood every Tuesday afternoon, a bigger Woolies than my Camps Bay one (but not as good service); for bumping into Rufus Scholtz, who moves to Joburg next week, having been appointed as GM of a new hotel there; for stopping at Bokhe Creative Studio on Regent Road, for a slice of the BEST chocolate cake in Cape Town, Continue reading →
