Is Chef Luke Dale Roberts scaling down his Restaurant Group? Salsify at the Roundhouse no longer part of the Group!

 

A surprise unplanned and delightful lunch at Salsify at The Roundhouse on Friday generated some surprise information from staff of the restaurant, based on questions I posed, hearing rumours about further plans for the restaurant.

Salsify at The Roundhouse is no longer part of the LDR Group, the name for Chef Luke’s collection of restaurants, exiting the Group since the end of last year the Salsify staff told us proactively. Chef Ryan Cole heads up the restaurant, retaining the same three backers who helped start the restaurant with Chef Luke almost three years ago. Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#gratitude for a beautiful day, cooler at 24C, and quite windy, but a rare South Wester for a change; for a good working morning, getting everything ready for my Utopia meeting this afternoon; for a surprise Discovery Healthy Food Cashback and Camps Bay Clean donation in my bank account 🙏; for picking up my rolls at Dinkel and getting German mustard at the shop above it; for a good client meeting; for a mini meeting with Councillor Nicola Jowell at Caprice; for a power walk to the end of Bakoven, and then up to the Tidal pool in Camps Bay, scoring on more beautiful sunsets and 300 Discovery points ; for making progress with the Anatoli website redesign, the temporary site going live this afternoon; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

SA Butler Academy gets a Karma klap, Website not accessible! Marketing dishonesty continues!

 

The SA Butler Academy cannot stay out of the news. For all its dishonesty towards its students and their future employers, as well as disparagement of its critics like myself and international Butler author and writer Steven Ferry, it may be good news that its website is out of action, a possible Karmic payback!

It must be a devastating blow to the Academy, so focused on trying to keep me off the Google Top 10 list when one Googles its name, my 2013 Blogpost about its dishonesty still ranked third!
