Corona Lockdown Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for a fabulous birthday, literally overwhelmed by the volume of messages on Whats App and in Groups, on Facebook and calls, not having got to see them all yet, starting from 6h00 ❤️❤️❤️; for getting some work done this morning; for the most amazing Birthday gift from the Camps Bay community today (see below); for seeing Barbara Lenhard and Flo Gast, who flew in from Germany this morning, not having seen them for 8 months, their Smart having stood in my garage, catching up quickly on our news and nibbling left over Christmas biscuits; for Hennie Kriel sending Continue reading →

Sunday 24 January 2021, Day 28 of Level 3 Adjusted, Day 305 of Lockdown. 😷

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for another beautiful day, the South Easter pumping now; for having been able to work with my Cleaning Team for the past three months, and having built up a great team, learning from them too; for two easy-going walks through Camps Bay; for my client receiving two fabulous reviews on the Good Bad & Nasty Cape Town Restaurants Facebook Group, the 11th and 12th ones since I started working on the marketing almost three months ago 💙; for a lovely sleep this afternoon; for my Kits having kissed and made up, now accepting each other as baby brother and sister, an anxious 10 days for me 😻😻; for receiving fantastic feedback from the Camps Bay residents with my team for our cleaning work; for having such peace and quiet in our apartment block, only one other apartment being occupied 👏👏👏; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for another day of rain, at 16C, with a little bite this afternoon, our second wet Sunday in a row, making it a lazy stay-in-bed morning; for a fresh walk through Camps Bay, with litter to pick up; for a quick shop at Woolies, getting back just in time before the next drizzle; more peace and quiet at home; for a second walk, up to the Tidal Pool; for some Playlist dancing 💃 to make up my step goal; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →
