Corona Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for a relaxed day, waking up early and getting my work done by midday; for the lovely rain which fell overnight, and during the course of today; for a lovely refreshing power walk in the drizzle, up Houghton Road, up Camps Bay Drive, up to Fulham Road, and back home; for meeting the prize winner of a Vegan Tasting Menu competition at Anatoli Turkish Restaurant, such a lovely couple; for being healthy, happy, and free. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for all the light rain that fell today, almost all day, only allowing me a quick walk through Bakoven; for a busy writing and admin day; for being spoilt with the delivery of a box of ingredients this morning, which was transformed into a Chicken Ballotine by our MasterChick Jenny Stephens this evening, a recipe created and our cooking guided by Chef Jennifer Morris via livestream, with Chef Peter Goffe-Wood the MC; for not being subjected to Loadshedding today; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →
