Corona Lockdown Gratitude š
#grateful for a day that became increasingly better, starting with some rain and a rainbow, seen on Camps Bay Whats App Groups; for preparing for my Client Status meetings; for a brisk walk to the Theatre on the Bay to buy tickets; for assistance from Discovery Sea Point, to send through my eye test proof (not charmed when I received a message this afternoon that an error was madeš±), to find out why Iām not receiving Gameboard plays for my car insurance, despite qualifying for them, and to add a Woolies voucher into my Wallet; for a quick shoe buy; for a client meeting, such a nice person, allaying my concerns š; for a good client Status meeting, with lots of laughter; for an ice cream treat at Gibsonās in Camps Bay, where the wind has been pumping; and for getting home earlier than usual, to the good news that the SA Chef article was published today ššš; and for being happy, healthy and free. šš

Despite having organized the quote for the 4 new security cameras late yesterday, I received no response from Sandak Lewin yesterday and this morning, until I followed up to find out when the supplier would be paid. The response was that the installer had decided to drop the price of the cameras to be replaced by R100 each, so that he could install them immediately. Not all the Trustees had approved the additional R2000, a rule that 3/4 must do so, but the installers were already back to fit the cameras, staying for all of 10 minutes! I felt that the installer should have carried the cost for the 4 Cameras, as it was his error. Very odd goings on š±š±š±. For R27000 we can now all watch the Ebbtide TV cameras and see nothing happening at all! š”š”š”š”š”

I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
