Wednesday 17 March, Day 17 of Level 1, Day 357 of Lockdown 😷

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for a beauty of a day, summer coming back at 26C and not a breath of wind, with hordes of beachgoers in Bakoven; for getting the bulk of my writing work done when Loadshedding hit us at 12h00, a critical time for me as I had a client meeting this afternoon; for a good client meeting, loving the brainstorming every week, and excited about our very humble Chef Jacques du Toit likely to soon becoming famous; for a lovely energetic walk on my new Bakoven walking way; for a lovely sunset; for Minsky coming home safely this morning, after a night out on the town 💙😻; for gaining two Discovery Gameboard plays, enabling me to buy a Woolies R100 voucher; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙

My Blogpost today was a review of Fat Harry’s in Kenilworth, which Gary Peterson and I popped in at last week, and had such a good time at.

Restaurant Review: Fat Harry’s bowls diners over with Service, and creative tasty Tapas!

I’m so lucky with my two Restaurant clients, the 5⭐️ ratings and reviews for Utopia flying in, I replying to each of them. After less than a month of working with Anatoli, the request for our Chef to cook on a show is an exciting achievement.

I’m grateful to the City of Cape Town for clearing two overflowing bins near the Camps Bay Primary School Symmonds Field today. I’ve nagged them every day since Saturday. 🙏

I learnt today how much data usage two hours of Social Media cost during Loadshedding. I will have to avoid using it in future, if I want to last the month.

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December,  extended to 15 February on 11 January, extended but relaxed on 1 February, and relaxed back to Level 1 on 1 March 2021, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
