Corona Gratitude šŸ™

#Grateful for an amazing day, with another new prospective Communications client in Ladies’ retail clothing requesting me to see her, when she is next in Cape Town in two weeks’ time , needing to pinch myself ā¤ļø; for the wonderful support of Vivian Warby, cheering me on in this newfound luck; for a smooth flowing writing morning; for a blustery walk to Clifton and back with a 200 point Discovery reward; for a late afternoon snooze after a restless night, with toe pain, a first 😱; and for being happy and healthy. šŸ™šŸ’™

Another one of our ā€˜poor’ Trustees, owning 8 apartments one of them in our building, denied Henry our Building Manager his salary increase backdated to October 2020, because she pays him extra all the time, she writes! She makes him do things for her apartment on his way home to Wynberg, and then gives him a R100 for his effort of going out of his way for her! So I didn’t get this through. But at least he got a pitiful salary increase. I suspect her of sabotaging my car when she comes to the building once in a blue moon. My table standing in my parking bay was pushed right against my car last week. Luckily I saw it otherwise it would have scratched my car! 🄵

My Blogpost today was meant to be a restaurant list update, but it will be posted tomorrow. Instead I wrote about my new career, so that I have declared my involvement with my clients openly. From the Blogpost came the request from the retailer, her collection of stores around the country containing the name of my favorite colour. šŸ’™

It looks like Uncle C’s speech has already been circulated around the country, and the rumours sound excellent. I’m holding thumbs for our struggling Restaurant industry. šŸ·šŸ·šŸ·

President Ramaphosa announces alcohol sales permitted, Curfew starting later, and restaurants to be open until 22h00.

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December, Ā extended to 15 February on 11 January, and extended but relaxed on 1 February, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
