Corona Lockdown Gratitude šŸ™

#grateful for a relaxed working day, having until lunchtime to finish the client posts, fitting in a Vit D shot on the terrace too; for a beach of a day, after the heavy South Easter last night; for a cut and colour at Hair by Isabella Page Morgan in Sea Point, dying of heat having the mask on for two hours, with no breeze; for shopping at Woolworths St Johnā€™s Piazza, always a service issue; for a quick hello to Celia Mauerberger at Frosted; for an ice cream treat at The Dairy Den; for getting home, having to patiently navigate Victoria Road in Clifton and Camps Bay, taking almost a hour; for a Camps Bay walk, it being windstill now and the Full Moon visible; for a catch-up chat with Stuart Bailey, slowly recovering and picking up weight after his severe Pneumonia; for a chat with Bernard Gutman, whom Iā€™ll see next week; for organizing Barbara Lenhard Smart car parked in our garage to be made drivable again on Monday, when she and Flo arrive here from Munich, my car friend Hennie Kriel sending someone on Monday, so easy šŸ™; and for being happy, healthy and free. šŸ™šŸ’™

The Sweet Service Award went to Sandak-Lewin; and the Sour Service Award went to the new Clicks in Sea Point.

Sweet Service Award goes to Sandak Lewin; Sour Service Award goes to Clicks Sea Point!

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March 2020 and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December, Ā extended to 15 February on 11 January 2021, extended but relaxed on 1 February, and relaxed back to Level 1 on 1 March 2021, moved back to Adjusted Level 2 on 31 May, moved back to level 3 on 16 June, and moved back to Adjusted Level 4 on 28 June, extended by two weeks on 11 July, Ā returned to Level 3 on 26 July, returned to Level 2 on 13 September, and returned to Level 1 on 1 October is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
