Sweet Service Award goes to Bernard Coppez Optometrists; Sour Service Award goes to Discovery!

 

The Sweet Service Award goes to Bernard Coppez optometrists, for assisting me in getting an appointment today, to test my script for a new pair of glasses, written by my ophthalmologist, following two eye operations. I was checking the prices of two optometrists, and the waiting time for the checking of the script, apparently a standard procedure, was one week at Riaan King Camps Bay optometrist, its prices going up each time I spoke to them. The  receptionist at Bernard Copper tried her best to find me a 15 minute slot, squeezing me in for today.  Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude 😷

#Gratitude for a beautiful sunny day, feeling warmer than 14C, and chilly when a cloud moved over the sun with a few rain drops at lunchtime, having to put my jersey back on again during my walk to Clifton, and then linking it to a Bakoven walk; for a most fabulous sun snooze on the terrace this afternoon; for feeling strong and organized about a big Admin week lying ahead; for loving sitting at my little table on the terrace, waving at the passersby that I know; for some follow-up calls; for trying to arrange more Women Restaurateur ADHARA deliveries for the owners who are further afield; for loving this calm day; for so many 💙 clouds today; for my long walk today, feeling far more energetic; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

Sweet Service Award goes to TakeaLot; Sour Service Award goes to Discovery!

 

The Sweet Service Award goes to TakeaLot, for its amazing service in delivering an order for cat food and cat litter a day earlier than promised. When ordering, I was given the choice of receiving it the following day with a delivery charge, or a day later without a delivery charge, so I chose the latter, only to receive a SMS to announce its delivery a day later. I really enjoy dealing with this online ordering company, because of its efficiency and its ease of ordering. Continue reading →
