On Friday radio station Kfm announced the winners in each of the 30 categories in its 2022 Best of the Cape Awards.

Chef Liam Tomlin opens The Bailey on Bree Street today!

 

Chef Liam Tomlin is a doyen of the restaurant industry in the Cape, owning Chefs Warehouses in Franschhoek, Constantia and at Tintswalo, as well as Thali.
Chef Liam let go of all his restaurant interests in Heritage Square on Bree Street, including his very first Chefs Warehouse, earlier this year.

The Pottery opens in Camps Bay, owned by locals; pottery, food and cocktails for Locals!

 

Last week The Pottery opened next door to Dizzy’s on The Drive in Camps Bay, after a much-needed renovation of the space, which served as Dizzy’s Bar for many years. Two of the three owners of The Pottery live in Camps Bay, and have promised that at least one of them will be at the restaurant at any time.

Camps Bay is the fourth The Pottery branch to open, other branches being in George, Ballito, and Jeffrey’s Bay.

The food and beverage offering is limited but its quality and pricing is excellent, a bonus for Camps Bay locals.

Anatoli Mediterranean Restaurant has introduced a new Tasting Menu, offering 5 courses at R195. It offers a Meat/Fish Menu, as well as a Vegetarian alternative.

Long-established Anatoli serves generous portions of authentic Mediterranean foods, including hot and cold magic Mezzes, aromatic main courses, and delicious desserts, all beautifully presented. One can end off one’s Mediterranean dinner with a Turkish coffee and Raki, a Turkish Aperitif.
