Corona Gratitude šŸ™

#Grateful for a wonderful day; for a busy writing morning, bringing the good news that our Sandak-Lewin Portfolio Manager Greg Anderson will soon be moved off our account, after I have lodged complaints about him for more than a year; for a quick walk through Bakoven; for collecting my Dinkel rolls; for finding the new Paris Cape Town Boulangerie and PĆ¢tisserie on Main Road in Sea Point which opened yesterday; for an unusual Utopia Status meeting, winemaker Ken Forrester popping in to see my client, and for finally meeting Rene Hurwitz who I know from Facebook, celebrating her 48th wedding anniversary with lunch at Utopia, and for a spoil glass of Bottega Continue reading →

Fideli’s Deli opens its doors to freshness and finest foods and wines to enjoy, or to take home!

Yesterday Fideli’s opened on Parliament Street on Church Square in the City centre, a very fine Deli as well as eating and drinking spot next door to Pilcrow & Cleaver, both owned by the very enterprising Chef Judi Fourie. The space was previously that of Kleinsky’s. While small, it spills out into a covered side section, almost doubling its size. I have not seen such beautiful presentation of food and beverages in a Deli before, as I did at Fideli’s yesterday.

Corona Gratitude šŸ™

#Grateful for a beautiful sunny 21C day, despite the South Easter blowing all day; for an early morning meeting which I linked to a first Camps Bay walk, bumping into German swallows Haakon and Thomas at okja; for a spoil breakfast of a croissant and Dilmah Earl Grey Tea at Firefly CafĆ©, with a fabulous connection; for a second walk to Camps Bay this afternoon, popping in at Absolute Pets to buy a cat treat, and receiving two sample packs of their house brand Lokuno chicken and rice dry food to test on my cats; for a day of past connections, all of which I have let go of; for dancing to Kfm; for two Discovery Game board plays, totalling a lucky 470 points; and for being happy and healthy. šŸ™šŸ’™ Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude šŸ™

#Grateful for a warm 26C day, windstill, with another such day forecast for tomorrow; for a writing morning, followed by a deep clean of my apartment, getting up to 5000 steps before I left for a proper walk in Camps Bay, including a shop at Woolies, needing croissants for my guests this afternoon; for getting help from gorgeous Llewellyn to become the admin of the client’s Facebook page šŸŽ; for the surprise of receiving two Discovery Gameboard plays, despite not having received any points since I hit Diamond status about 10 days ago; for an easy transition from Discovery Coastal Core to Classic Smart, costing only R19 more per month and heaps more medical and dental benefits, Maki Chase holding my hand virtually šŸ™; for a R164 Discovery Insure cash back for driving less; for the honour of being interviewed by THE 6 foot 6 inches Derek Watts today, in my home, more details to come when it is aired; and for being happy and healthy. šŸ™šŸ’™ Continue reading →
