Corona Gratitude ๐Ÿ™

#Grateful for the amazing weather we are blessed with, quite untypical for winter, keeping our spirits buoyant; for another good Exercise Time, once again warm enough to wear shorts and a short sleeve top; for a shopping walk this afternoon, and kind service at Pick n Pay and its Manager; for the lovely feedback about the Restaurant Food Delivery Group, making a small difference to our industry, getting close to 300 restaurants and soon weโ€™ll be at 2500 members; for being able to work all day, yet get my dancing ๐Ÿ’ƒ on Kfm going and exceeding my step goal; for getting a Discovery Gameboard play and a good point win; for a long chat to Jenny Stephens; for a chat with Darren Combrink, helping me with some technical issues in the Food Delivery Group Facebook Page; and for being happy and healthy. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™ Continue reading →

#Grateful for another stunning day, with a bit of mist early this morning; for a long walk to the shops, and to the home of Petra to collect my new cotton masks; for good service at the Camps Bay pharmacy; for a fabulous Vit D snooze on the terrace; for the delivery of some more BioMedCan SLEEP CBD capsules by courier; for being reassured by Councillor Nicola Jowell about going into Level 4 on Friday; for it being International Dance Day today, and for how starting dancing three and a half years has changed my life, bringing out my inner 18 year old teenager, and is keeping me fit and healthy๐Ÿ’ƒ; for two Discovery Vitality Gameboard plays today; and for being happy and healthy. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™ Continue reading →

Tuesday 28 April 2020, Day 44 of SA Corona Virus, Day 33 of SA Lockdown ๐Ÿ˜ท

Corona Gratitude ๐Ÿ™

#Grateful for a perfect day, at 24C, so much so that my feet were itching to do a shopping walk, and for my German discipline to stay strong, and wait until tomorrow, when I fetch my new cotton masks; for the wonderful interest in the new Facebook page of Take-Away Food Deliveries, with at least 50 restaurants listed already, and nearing 1000 members, eagerly awaiting their first restaurant order delivery on Friday, I having ordered mine too; for a number of calls today; for successfully divorcing Auto & General today, after a small complication with a broker was easily overcome; for reducing the content of my fridge, after an over-ambitious shop at the start of Lockdown, always being grateful for ordering items from Woolies in Camps Bay, when they are out of stock; for the lovely eye candy walking past my place, one in particular with a greet and a chat across the street … โค๏ธ; for dancing ๐Ÿ’ƒ to Kfm throughout the day, and more to come tonight; and for being happy and healthy. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™

Corona Gratitude ๐Ÿ™

#Grateful for another beautiful day, as well as beautiful sunset; for a slow start to the day, having done most of the Blog writing last night; for a chat across the road with Ashleigh Fleming and her Dirk; and for a call with Linda-Louise Roosenschoon, definitely getting together after Lockdown loosens; for the excellent offer from Discovery Insure, over R1000 less than my current car insurer which has not contacted me at all, and which I have now let go; for letting go an old issue with a chef doing good community work now; for dancing to Kfm; and for feeling healthy and happy. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™ Continue reading →
