#Grateful for another beautiful day, sunny with the slightest breeze; for the fantastic service I receive at Woolworths and Pick n Pay, getting to know each other better in this unusual time; that I am so extremely fortunate to live in Camps Bay, and to be in Lockdown here; to be able to keep fit by walking and dancing to Kfm Dansdag in my home; that I have been blessed with the company of KitKat (aka Charlie); that there was a beautiful 💙 cloud touching Lion’s Head this morning; and that I am fit and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

Thursday 9 April 2020, 25 th day of SA Corona Virus, Day 14 of Lockdown 😷

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful that we are two-thirds through Round 1 of Lockdown, and that this week seems to have gone faster than the first week; that I managed to get fabulous baby spinach at Woolworths Camps Bay, after running around for it elsewhere yesterday; for another fabulous sunny day, but now the clouds are moving in, the temperature dropping for a partially wet Easter weekend to come; for being able to walk to the shops, and seeing a new family of Egyptian Geese chicks at ‘my’ stream at the Tidal Pool; for feeling peaceful; for dancing to lovely music on Kfm🎶; for my highest step count since Lockdown 👣; and for feeling happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

Wednesday 8 April 2020, Day 24 of SA Corona Virus, Day 13 of SA Lockdown 😷

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for another warm beautiful sunny day; for the City of Cape Town truck driving past to clear out the green bins, the staff always happy, smiling, and waving, clearly loving their job; for being able to drive to town for the first time in almost two weeks; for being able to donate blood, hearing ads on radio requesting donors to come to donate, and with such fabulous service; for the most friendly and smiling service at The Olive Branch Deli at Lifestyle on Kloof; for the easy drive to and in town, with hardly a car on the road; for wine now allowed to be exported; for children now being allowed to see the other parent as per custody agreements; for getting a Discovery Vitality Gameboard play, with quite a nice point score; for Discovery having created a Whats App service allowing one to ask questions; for the Waterfront opening all its booms, not charging for parking; and for feeling happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →
