Sweet Service Award goes to The Creamery in the V & A; Sour Service Award goes to Discovery!

The Sweet Service Award goes to The Creamery at the new Harbour View in the V & A Waterfront, and to Marvellous, for his marvellous service when I wanted to pay for my ice cream treat in cash. They only accept payment by credit card, probably not due to Covid, but due to staff pilfering! Putting R44 on a credit card is ridiculous! Marvellous found a way around this and made me a very happy customer, enjoying my treat on the sharedĀ outside terrace. Details of his gesture will remain a secret. Continue reading →

#grateful for a relaxed day, waking up early and getting my work done by midday; for the lovely rain which fell overnight, and during the course of today; for a lovely refreshing power walk in the drizzle, up Houghton Road, up Camps Bay Drive, up to Fulham Road, and back home; for meeting the prize winner of a Vegan Tasting Menu competition at Anatoli Turkish Restaurant, such a lovely couple; for being healthy, happy, and free. šŸ™šŸ’™ Continue reading →
