Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for a relaxed day, getting on top of my work; for a lovely 24 C day with no wind; for not winning high Discovery Gameboard points today but having enough left over from last week to just manage cashing in on a Pick n Pay shopping voucher; for reaching 5000 Instagram followers for Utopia today, receiving a huge boost through the Valentine’s Day promotion we are running with the Bush Radio DJ Mr Meyer; for a late afternoon walk to Clifton when it cooled down a little, with lots of litter to pick up on the way (including a freshly drunk bottle of Hennessy), rewarded with 300 Discovery points for my 70% heart exertion; and for being happy and healthy.

My Blogpost today was an update of the Restaurants that have opened and closed since the start of Lockdown.

I was really annoyed at the large numbers of non mask wearers today, only 0,5% wearing one correctly. My ‘best’ responses were:

#. You don’t need to wear masks at the beach, says he sitting 100 meters from the beach on the Victoria Road pavement 😱
#. The Corona Virus has finished 😱

I wonder if these people live in the same country as I do. 🥵

Tonight I saw the first sign of mothering by Ms M to Mr G, licking his little body. Mr G is a huge eater, crying like a baby when I go near the fridge. He loves drinking my lemon water. He is toooo cute. 😻😻

One part of Kfm DJ Brandon Leigh’s show sounded like a sex hotline this evening, with heavy breathing and more. I wrote him a rude What’s App, and an email to the Station Manager, before switching to my own playlist. 🥵🥵🥵

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December,  extended to 15 February on 11 January, and extended but relaxed on 1 February, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
